Oh no, this is deeply embarrassing. But I was afraid it would show up sooner or later, I just hoped that if I would fail to mention it, it would be later.

I must admit that I am involved in Breatharianism, as a matter of fact each semester break I take the time to get back to it. Today I have had nothing to eat or drink, and I am better than fine.

Starting from the age of 17, I begun to have experiences that led me to Breatharianism. That is about the time I made that website, which I subsequently begun taking down for obvious reasons being that this is not a safe topic to distribute.

Linky

Well Annie, it's later.

If you thought I had fun with Arcturus, then despite your vision from feeling, then b...b...babe, you just ain't seen nothin' yet.

Yep, we got it all here folks.

How frigging embarrassing, I'm actually cringing.

Highlights from last night's episode of Alenara Does Earth:

  • "However, no amount of common sense changes the fact that this does remain a real, true, and very important part of my life."
  • "So basically, my breath rate goes down or even ceases. And that is when it is fun to go for a run because I am running all the while holding my breath. Normally when a person is running, they become hot because the energy that came from sunlight and then glucose and then ATP and is then used in the muscle is converted finally into heat, but with Breatharianism it seems that what ever energy is used does not convert into heat, because I won't get hot. Normally, running gives a feeling of muscle strain, but during breatharianism it does not. Normally, heartrate goes up, but during breatharianism, it stays low or calm. It is great fun. But don't try this at home."
  • "Besides, even Mark Edward was quite impressed with the fact that I knew the accuracy beforehand. And seems that so was James Underdown.But seems that they won't really say that."
  • "...but when things that are suggested appeal to you they may of course seem real in your mind. That is the nature of certain conditions that certain people have."
  • "At least my health condition is treatable and curable and is as a matter of fact gone by now."
  • "The source of my character is entirely internal and not inspired by outside sources."
  • "As for knowledge of physics, I most definitely believe that I have wonderful things to add to the science of light. Based on what I know so far about science from my studies my objective opinion is that my ideas are absolutely amazing and very promising..."

Alenara a lady who lives in Sweden writes, “I would like to tell you that I have arrived, here on Earth and I am an alien incarnation, and I come from another world. I am sure you are open to contact. There is much life in the outer space, and some of us come here!
...
My home world is named Telmaar. We have only sent two individuals from our world to earth. It is I, and another. I know all of my companion, and will tell you about him, his whereabouts, his life mission, and we can even locate him if this is desired. I am a scientist. At home I worked with collecting all known science, the universal truth, that is, what is true science in spite of any beings interpreting or perceiving it in their own ways. This information was stored in a kind of libraries of ours, and I worked there, processing the information. I was in equivalent of earth years more than 370 years. Our average life span on that planet is equivalent of 1200 years. Persons of up to a 200 years are considered adolescent by our people, in our world. I am sent here to work with science.
...
Editor’s Note: I have interviewed Alenara and found her to be a remarkable lady. We are skeptical of her claims, but feel it is only fair to test and learn more about her alien contacts and to her ability to prove her claims. I'm convinced she believes what she tells us. I have pointed out to her that remarkable claims require remarkable proof, and she states she is up to the test.

"Interestingly, only about a month ago I bought some books made by various woo authors about supposed Arcturian connections. One of those books mentions a place there called Tomaar - I'll have to look up how they spelled the name later when I have the book again. Interesting I suppose. And I was not inspired by any books when I discovered or invented or which ever it may be, what this identity is."

"The source of my character is entirely internal and not inspired by outside sources."

~~~~~~
VfF:"But if you do not use glucose, you do not use oxygen. Which is nice, actually, since oxygen takes part in a lot of free radical reactions, cell damage and ageing that we don't want....So basically, my breath rate goes down or even ceases. And that is when it is fun to go for a run because I am running all the while holding my breath."
Ness36: "So you are saying you can survive without breathing!!! You don't need oxygen? This has to be the most ridiculous claim any paranormal claimant has ever made!!!!!!!!!!!!! Would you care to test that by being in a non oxygen atmosphere for 1/2 an hour?"
VfF: "Yes. And no."
And, of course, my personal favorite:
Ness36: "Also, here is the same UFO Info Filer's Files that UncaYimmy posted above, but on a different website including pictures, and one of Alenara. It has the usual Anita Ikonen/Vision From Feeling/Alenara trademarks of glowing white halo and pink background. I am pretty sure the picture is Heather Locklear from a L'Oreal haircolor ad."
Alenara/Annie: "Major Filer posted that picture, not me, and without asking me first. It wasn't even finished. I have some better ones and lately drawings from scratch. Sorry about that."
Or even her, for that matter.
Alenara
Heather Locklear
Heather looks lovely in that picture, doesn't she?
Is her picture's use on those websites (as if it were VfF) legal?
What does she mean with "it wasn't even finished"? VfF seems to indicate that she agreed to the use of that picture of Heather.
Did she agree to the use of the image for changing it such that Heather's features (or the photo's identity) would be somewhat muddled?
Again, is this legal?
If the photographer still holds the rights to the photo, then I believe it's technically illegal to use the photo without permission, credit or reimbursement. But I doubt many photogs waste much time chasing down every instance where their photos are used improperly-especially ones like this, which was used in a widespread ad campaign.
Heather's photo is certainly an improvement over Starseed's.
My understanding is that Anita altered the photo so that it appeared to depict "Alenara", and her only objection seemed to be that the webmaster of the site posted it without her permission. Not sure what further changes she intended to make to the photo, but she certainly didn't admit that the photo isn't of herself.
Well, I wonder whether Heather herself would approve, or her legal representative.
It's not just using or publishing Heather's picture, but attaching Heather's image (identity) to someone else's (not so healthy) identity.
Whatever legal implications there might be, I find it highly inappropriate.
Well, in this case, Ms. Locklear would have no legal recourse, since the photog likely still holds the rights to the photo. The most she-or her attorney-could do would be to alert the photographer and leave it to him to take action.
I agree that she probably wouldn't find it flattering to have this whackjob using her image as if it were her own, though.
Whatever legal implications there might be, I find it highly inappropriate.
Not to mention stupid. Took me all of ten seconds to find the original photo using Google Image Search. Anita doesn't even plagariaze intelligently.
So, if all of VfF's/Alenara's stories go as far back as she seems to claim, where does it really originate?
Is it all just in her head or has it been created as an escape from circumstances.
Child abuse perhaps?
Thanks Desertgal, I agree it is really stupid. It's one example of the many lies VfF/Alenara has to commit to peddle her rubbish.
Well...from what she's revealed about her youth, I wouldn't go so far as to say "abuse", but there may have been some neglect there, both real and imagined.
We know that narcissistic personality disorder usually stems from child abuse or neglect. I think most delusional disorders do, to varying degrees. I can only speak from the experience of my own childhood and those of people I've worked with, though
We know her father died when she was small. She possibly has some abandonment issues related to that.
She's said her mother didn't spend a lot of time with her-whether through choice or necessity, I don't know-and that her mom is a nice person. Maybe that led Anita to feel neglected even when her mother didn't intend it that way.
She's said she isn't close to her sister. Possibly normal sibling conflict, or maybe sister doesn't have any patience with Anita's attention whoring and fantasy life.
She's said that she doesn't have many friends and doesn't make friends easily-not surprising, considering Anita is always and only about "me, me, me".  That doesn't contribute much to the normal give and take of friendships.
Seems many people in her life, past and present, consider her to be a complete nutjob-with good reason. And a lot of folks don't have the time or patience to explore what's really going on with someone like Anita, especially when she is continually dishonest with them. It's usually a form of self defense to withdraw from any relationship that includes her type of emotional abuse. It usually isn't intentionally unkind, but it definitely can contribute to feelings of isolation on the part of the delusional subject
So, yeah, I think it's safe to say that all of this started very early, as a means of escaping from circumstances. Unfortunately, I think it's too late  and gone too far for her to ever really confront reality. As UY pointed out, people with NPD don't usually benefit from therapy, even when they seek it.
It's odd that she reacted so viciously to Alenara being exposed. It's also odd that the whole thing appears to have just stopped. I wonder what happened?
By exposing Alenara you further tarnished her delusion of being a skeptic and a science student with critical thinking skills. She'll fight to the death to hang onto the facade that she presents to the world, at this time. You blindsided her and she couldn't backpedal fast enough to keep herself from looking even more delusional.
I could not believe my eyes when I logged into JREF and saw your post Unca.
 This Alenara persona I am trying to find out more about. I wonder if Alenara is the first persona Anita has adopted?
We are back to the old question: charlatan/scammer or severely mentally ill person?  How could someone who is as disturbed as Anita make it through classes day after day and get marks as good as hers?
Desertgal, do you think Anita really believes she is a star seed cum whatever, or do you think she is fully aware that the words she spouts are meaningless and not scientifically sound?
I would like to accept that she is mentally ill and in need of urgent psychiatric care, and hope that she gets the helps she needs if that is the case.
But Anita, if you are of the charlatan/scammer persuasion, then I am glad that someone such as UncaYimmy has tripped you up.
