Interpretation - It seems Anita has had some success with telepathy with the person in the room. it seems to be already so much of a given that she can do this that she intends to "try this out" in reference to a person in another room.

Reason for not performing testing on this - Not sure - Implication that this could be done if  "strongly insisted by others"
