Actually, she has an unhealthy fixation on attention whoring. Skepticism is just the current mutation.

I almost feel sorry for Wagg. In the category of things that make you go "bwhhh", Anita has his home phone number.

For that matter, any bets on how long it will take before Wagg joins the "tried to get into my pants" crowd?

You guys are missing one crucial element: She's getting what she wants from Wagg. She won't change her tune with him until she wants something else, and he won't give it. That's when she will try another approach. Look at all the tactics she has used with me.

* Flirting & seduction
* Sharing secrets
* I need your help.
* I'm a science student.
* You're mean.
* I love you!
* I'm dying.
* We're like girlfriends.
* Help me find the truth.
* Public shame (the flip side of flirting/seduction).
* I'm a victim!
* You'll be famous!

And now the latest is she wants me to feel ostracized by my fellow skeptics. If I would only join them (meaning Wagg), I would be accepted as a real skeptic, and don't you want to be a real skeptic? It's like at the end of Terminator 2 when the shape shifting is in the molten metal desperately changing forms trying to escape. Only in Terminator, they didn't have a Bookitty going, "But what if this time he's really a cop? Cops are good guys. He just needs the freedom to explore his copness without being attacked."

Sorry, UY - I didn't miss that element.

IMO,  this falls under the "public shame" category: "you've made a fool of yourself among the skeptics who matter", i.e. you are publicly shamed (at least, in the eyes of the 'real' skeptical community) and you should throw in the towel so you can be embraced by the skeptics who "count". (Who, presumably, are Jeff Wagg and Nigel Aves.)

And, of course, she threw a little victimization in there as well.

Cellophane isn't that transparent. I was just attempting a little levity at the predicability of her behavior.
