I'm glad you appreciated my take on the new photo, Farencue.
I tried to be restrained, it is my nature, and after all, I try to be nice to women with practically non-existent cheekbones, which feature gives an infantile charm to a face as it does VFF's.

Unfortunately they age very badly; perhaps Bette Davis is the classic example (a movie she did- something about Baby Jane shows what I mean). So I'd have thought VFF would go the for the 'psychic hag' look when that inevitable moment arises, not before. Someone who's bedpanned in a nursing home for three years, after all, must have seen how different face shapes age.
Anyway.
One more day.

You're never going to get to sleep tomorrow night, are you?

You're right though. It's really, really, really, really exciting. Reallly.

I just had a wonderful thought - maybe we're about to get three whole days without any fantasy ridden posts directly from the horse's arse? That really really is exciting

That was "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane":

Joan Crawford didn't win any beauty awards for that one, either, but at least she had cheekbones.

Thanks for the welcome Farencue!  I dented my head long ago when this sitcom first started over at JREF.

As for the new photo, I think she's trying (too hard) to look mysterious and intense.  Unfortunately she just looks weird and a little creepy.

ETA: Looks like I don't have quote/reply function quite right yet.

I had some trouble with it at first, but it's all sorted now.

Cheers

It is most definitely arse for us Aussies too Catbasket, dunno why I Americanised it - and I reckon we will get a long weekend off for sure - after all it IS Hollywood we are talkin about, you know lights, cameras, probably no action though, I doubt the written word here can compare to all that excitement.
I wonder if Anita's friend is going along too, the Chris(?) that is so interested in making ghost hunter movies. Which reminds me, why can't woos come up with any original ideas?
Well, to be fair, I guess us skeptics havent met any horses arses from Arcturus before.

Desertgal, that pic is classic - are you any good at photoshop, I'd love to compare Bette after she has been whirlied.

Excellent work, o Pharaoh.
However, you missed the detail which characterises VFF's 'photos' -
the photoshopped pupils of the eyes. That gives an intensity to the gaze which is really really compelling.

I will encourage the artist-slaves to increase their efforts. I foresee a morph coming up.

O Pharaoh, that could be very, very cruel.
