I've been made aware of the mod teams claims about why I was banned. Apparently it was my "body of work." I challenge the mods to enumerate each and every one of my infractions because that is how they "communicate" improper behavior to members. It is simply wrong-headed to ban somebody for posts that received no action. If there's a body of work, then pointing out the posts and infractions should be easy.

To the best of my recollection, I have about a dozen infractions, not the 20 claimed by a moderator (the same mod who said I had "hundreds" of posts in AAH when it was actually 154). Most of my infractions were in Forum Management for butting heads with the mods, especially Darat. I appealed most but not all of them. Two were reversed completely and two were reversed partially. I also appealed other actions like moves to AAH and a thread moved to Conspiracy Theories. I didn't win all of them, but I won some of them. So, quite clearly the mods have some trouble enforcing the membership agreement, at least when it comes to me.

But the knock on me is that I allegedly keep "personalizing" discussion. Okay, mods. List every infraction I received for Rule 12. As far as I recall, including the last one I had four in over 7,000 posts. Of those, only two were outside of Forum Management. So, please explain to everyone just how you concluded that I am somehow a menace to the forum. While you're at it, go dig around AAH and find how many Rule 12 infractions were given to other members for attacking me. It's a lot more than four, that's for sure.

Apparently part of the issue is that I won't "learn" to follow the rules. Evidence? I argue with the mods. Yep. So why is there a forum for lodging complaints and another for appealing actions? I availed myself of the system in place, and for that I am deemed argumentative. Considering my success rate on appeals, I'm not just being argumentative. Furthermore, if you look at some of the actions I've discussed publicly, quite a few members argued that the mods were out of line.

The mods never once said anything to me about me being anywhere close to a banning. Never. When I asked LashL about the "stalker-like behavior" comment, she refused to answer. Some defend her claiming she didn't want to get into a long argument. Well, if she can stop herself at zero posts, she can certainly stop at one, can't she? She could have explained herself and let it stand, but she didn't. That wasn't the only time the mods ignored my questions both public and private.

As for my suspensions, I never once received one for my behavior outside of Forum Management. Never. How am I supposed to  extrapolate two "FM Only" suspensions and a recent 3-day forum-wide ban (some people get 7 days for first offenses) to a pending forum-wide ban? My situation was grossly mishandled, and the rationalization is unbecoming skeptics.

One more thing. When I asked to be "de-registered" way back when, I actually asked to have my posting privileges suspended. I told several of my friends such as Desertgal, Audible Click and Akhenaten, " I'd really appreciate if you folks - my friends - just let it be and not discuss it. Suffice it to say that I think it's a good decision for me personally. And as much as I hate to admit my own weaknesses, the reality is that if I have posting privileges, I will post, and right now, I don't think that's a good thing... I would prefer that there be just as much drama around my leaving as there was upon my arrival." Hardly drama queen material.

I am actually sorry that it went down this way. Although you had moments of incivility, your contribution to the forum was significant. If there was any way to appeal your ban in good conscious, I would do so.

After reading these last two posts, I can't. One of the stated reasons was the fact that a suspension will not get you to moderate your own behavior. Here you have proved it. If (and this will not happen) your membership was reinstated, you would continue to violate the MA.

I wish you the best of luck. Goodbye.
